Master of Accounting UGM

Master of Accounting Program UGM have been initiated since 2002. This process is a transplant from two excellent programs that already exist, namely the Department of Accounting Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) UGM and the Master Program of Science (Accounting). Various awards the highest academic quality has been obtained by the two programs. Grafting process is intended to accelerate self-reliance, especially in terms of quality education programs in Accounting. For four years, the program has successfully contributed to the community, both from the scientific, human resources and development of public and private organizations. 

Master of Accounting Program has successfully developed five (5) concentration, namely: Public Sector Accounting, Financial Accounting, Management Accounting, Management Information Systems and Audit, in which each concentration was able to develop themselves as teaching applied, with differences in content and teaching methods of research. From the input side, students who follow the Master of Accounting Program education most have been working and have adequate experience, and after completing the program alumni / graduate programs have a more comprehensive knowledge and are able to present the solution in addressing the various organizational problems from an accounting perspective. In various surveys in the field, the ability of embryonic program graduates have been known for its reliability and his skill in solving the problems faced by the company / organization. From the development of public sector organizations and local government, many alumni of this embryonic program has made a significant breakthrough in managerial procedures and hospital administration. Cooperation with several government agencies, such as the Financial Supervisory Agency (BPK), the City Government of Yogyakarta Special Region, and the City of Ambon, has done well. Practitioners around Yogyakarta has also requested permission to sit in (sit and hear) in the classroom. 

From the development of private sector organizations, many alumni have been successfully promoted to a managerial position. This is due to the acceleration of management problem-solving abilities.
